  • The 5 Biggest Problems Of Taurus Pt111 G2 That You Should Know

This is a paddle holslter rig or a belt rig they probably make something for what your looking for. If not they will guide you to something! They are a great company. Only problem was trigger pull that a lot of complaints were heard on and yes I also did not like this trigger.

Most shooters said once you shoot enough rounds through you get plenty use to the trigger pull, the the trigger pull for me long, long, to long made my reflexes feel funny it just was not right. The only thing I hold back about this weapon is the trigger, sights, rod guid.

But remember this is for me and how i feel comfortable with the gun and how everyone should feel or do. I changed out the trigger and sights, sight for fiber optics, only for the reason my eyes.

Guide rod only for the reason i did not like plastic and did not want to be stuck at the range if it ever broke. Those were my choices to do. Although I will say lots n lots of guys like the trigger pull and the rest the gun, its all up to the shooter and how the gun feels in your hand and how good it shoots and the recoil, the grips, stippling is outstanding they did an awesome job.

This is a great gun like i said it stands up to all the big guys and i have shot over a thousand rounds in this gun not one failure nothing. The best thing about this gun.

They run this gun on sale at a regular basis guys n gals jump at it your regrets are 0!! I will be buying another Taurus G2 when on sale again! I would like to change the plastic rod and found a kit to fill that need, so I ordered it. The sights are next. Just do all of us a favor.

Let all of us know where your Big Factory that makes all your 9 mm ammo. So that we can buy some too. Joking with you. Please know you made a great buy. I love this reloading machine, i can pump out as much as rounds an hour that was most, max so far. I went back to reloading when all the crises started with the ammo shortage and I do not regret this one single bit! I now always have shells and ready to go and shoot at the range!

But I learned it came down to ergonomics. People felt really comfortable with the Taurus G2C. Most were buying that gun, not because of its price point but because they really felt it was the ultimate size they were looking for. Texturing Now the texturing on the G2C is good. It has a stippled texturing that is an almost artistic, non-geometric shape around the grip. It grips your hand in all the right places except for the area where the palm of your support hand fits on the gun.

But it looks like a natural place where a new shooter might put their thumb. The general feeling of the gun is really good. It makes you feel secure holding it. You feel like this is a gun that you can shoot well. It will take care of you as long as you do the right things with it.

Sights The Taurus G2c has standard three-dot style plastic sights. But the sights that come standard on it are, frankly, at the very bottom tier of what I would hope.

The sight picture is not great. The rear is adjustable for both windage and elevation, which seems kind of crazy for me on a gun like this. I would much rather have basic steel sights on it that promise to work well when you need them. In theory, somebody could have this gun milled for a red dot. Although the cost of milling it would probably exceed the cost of the gun itself. Additionally, the gun features a loaded chamber indicator that would create a hazard when trying to mill the gun for an optic.

Controls Safety Now when you start talking about the controls of the gun themselves, you first have the thumb safety. The thumb safety is available solely on the left side of the gun. You press it down to disengage it. You can ride your thumb on the safety if you so wish, which is what I would suggest. Magazine Release As far as the Taurus G2c magazine release, I can easily reach it without breaking the grip with the size of my hands.

But I think anybody that had smaller hands than me would have an issue. The safety does not get in the way of you being able to drop the slide. Taurus G2c.

Rated 5 out of 5 Anthony Leon verified owner — May 13, Just got the G3 and trigger felt good already, but after putting in the stainless striker guide…. All I gotta say is wow it makes a difference. I also added the stainless guide rod spring assembly at the same time.

Definitely made a difference for the better. Rated 5 out of 5 Jeff Titone verified owner — June 15, A great upgrade over the stock striker guide. A very easy and quick installation. I only put 30 rounds thru it so far, but I love it. I order another set for the G2, great Products from Lakeline. I already have it in my G2S works great, I did not have to do any mods in my PT have not shot it yet, but if it handles like it does in my G2S I will be very happy. Also the prices here are better than anywhere I found these products on the internet.

Rated 5 out of 5 John Cloven verified owner — July 1, Crazy fast shipping, even during the zombie apocalypse! It even comes with a handy disassembly tool. Thank you! Very impressed on how much it improved the trigger pull, plus looks a lot nicer without the old red plastic. Rated 5 out of 5 stevess verified owner — August 19, Added the stainless recoil assembly, and then I purchased and installed the stainless firing pin guide.

    It is amazing.

The firing pin guide is like having a gunsmith do a trigger job. The trigger is now smooth and easier to pull. It eliminated the hard to pull action after a shot is fired. Before, it was almost as if the safety had been engaged, or sometimes it would not completely cycle the recocking and required to be bumped in order to pull the trigger.

All of that is fixed now, and my G2S is now an amazing good shooting pistol. Rated 4 out of 5 inghram. Its much smoother. Well worth the money thank you lakeline LLC for a great product.

I was hoping it would help smooth out the action, as there is a false catch in the system somewhere. If there was any difference with this swap, it was subtle at best.

Easy self-install. Instructions were clear. Rated 5 out of 5 ggleck verified owner — September 26, Before I mention this part and a few others I had purchased its so important for others to know that the service Al and his company gives is top notch, no question to dumb, very fast replies, very fast shipping and superior quality far above the oem parts….

What a difference this makes, I imagine my g2c would have ran ok with the plastic part, but compared to this part it made no sense to me to use it whether it was polymer or a hard plastic. The trigger is also much smoother and not as gritty. Great upgrade!

Thanks for all your help. Rated 5 out of 5 Richard Viera verified owner — October 6, Very well made, very fast shipping. Trigger is so much smoother. Great job guys. This stainless steel striker guide made a huge difference — no hang, the trigger pull feels more linear and sturdy.
