The addiction is real. I am legit obsessed! Scroll through and shop my favorite spring imPress nails below! Press-on nails have come a long way since I last used them in middle school. I have girlfriends who can grow these gorgeous, long nails that they just paint themselves and it looks like a freaking salon manicure. That is just not my truth. No matter how much collagen I consume, my nails always break.

Treat yourself to a mani after quarantine is over. It feels like such a waste of time to me. Plus, going to nail salons is a really expensive habit! And each set includes 30 nails, so I can get two full manicures from one box. Depending on the size of your fingers, you may end up with some odd sizing leftover for example, the largest thumb size is too big for my thumb, so those are always leftover.

Such a time saver. Btw, I just bought the below styles for spring! First and foremost, follow the directions on the box. Use an orangewood stick to push back your cuticles. Each set comes with one, but I have my own that I like to use.

I then trim my cuticles so that everything looks nice and clean. I use this style cuticle trimmer —I like it better than the ones that are shaped like pliers because I find this style easier to use with my left hand.

Lay out your nails. Next, go through and decide which nails you want on each finger. Sometimes I like to do an accent nail on just my ring fingers, sometimes two accents on my pointer and ring fingers…you can really just play around here and see what looks good to you.

File your press-on nails. I usually do a little extra filling because I like them to be not quite so long. Do your mani at night right before you go to bed. Use gloves when you do the dishes. Carry a few extra nails in your purse in case one pops off.

That way if one happens to get snagged on something and pops off, I can just pop another one back on. Get some nail glue so you can reuse a nail that pops off. Sometimes a nail will get snagged on something and come off, or a nail will start to lift at the base which is annoying because then my hair gets stuck in it. Buy from recent nail collections.

And when I first started buying press-on nails from them back in November they had all the cute holiday styles available. Buy short length, not medium. The medium ones are just too long for me. Oval vs square. I check all of these sites because they tend to all have different designs and styles available. Here are a few of my current favorite styles!

The Best At-Home Manicure: imPRESS Nails Review

Yeah, you two? There has to be a better way to get flawless nails! Their nail collection is HUGE and rumors have it that these nails last a really long time. There are some super important tips you need to know when applying these nails and hacks for maintaining them so they last a really long time.

The box makes it seem really easy to apply these nails. Clean, Peel, Stick! First, trim and file down your nails so they are smooth and at your desired length. My thumbnail was brittle so I filed it down to be more smooth so the fake nail could adhere better.

Then, clean your nail with the wipe that comes in. When it comes time to apply a nail, use the size that fits best. There are little numbers on each nail to signal which size they are but I found it much easier to just hold up an imPRESS nail to my own to see what one fits the best.

When in doubt, go with the smaller size. Do this for both of your hands and make sure to have fun with the patterns! When all the nails are applied, take a clear gel polish and coat the underside of each nail. This is SUPER important for helping the fake nail adhere to your own and maintaining this underside coat of clear polish helps the nails stay on longer.

The pack does come with a small nail file but I found it kind of useless, so I used my own. After about 10 minutes of trimming and sculpting, my nails were ready! You can also carry around nail glue if you happen to catch the fallen nail. I personally would keep some nail glue and extra nails at my desk if I still worked in an office.

But, obviously, you want to avoid reapplying at all. These are some of my secret hacks for keeping your nails from falling off. Apply your nails at night, after you washed your face, etc, so you can sleep overnight without distributing them to help the glue set extra well. Avoid soaking them. Aka, if you do dishes, use dish gloves.

You can shop them at places like Target, or online at their site directly for even more options. Keep in mind that if you go for the Coutoure set, as I have here, that the faux diamonds are super chunky. As I mentioned above, I still have to get used to the feeling of something heavy on my nail, but this is only a problem for the 3 fingers I have a studded nail design on.

Also, as I chat about in my video, before I re-applied a new coat of clear gel on the underside, a couple of my fake nails were ever so slightly detaching from my nail. Not enough to notice BUT it turned into a hair trap. As in, everything I ran my fingers through my hair, a strand would be trapped under my fake nail. If you have thoughts to add or more reviews, leave a comment below so everyone can see. Did they still stick?
